Chantilly was purchased at the TLBAA Horn Showcase Sale from Justin and Julie Hansen. She was born 09/27/06 out of Hilary's Heaven and Hunts Emperors Destiny, a two time second place Horn Showcase tip to tip division Champion. Her first calf was Mattaponi, by Virginia Slam born in December 2008. He has shown exceptional horn growth. Her 2010 calf is a bull by RHF Locksmith. Appalachia is a beautiful animal and one of our favorites! She is patterned just like her sire Super Fielder. Her dam is Shadow Applause, a Shadow daughter that we purchased from Dickinson Cattle Co. Appalachia is Millennium Futurity eligible, and was calved 08/24/06. Her first calf was born in May 2009 sired by Virginia Slam and is a beautifully spotted heifer named Buena Vista. Zuni was bred by David Miller of Mountain Diamond Longhorns in West Virginia. Her dam is Zarla, a Zhivago daughter, and her sire is MD Seneca Diamond, a bull with over 70" tip to tip. Zuni was born 08/28/06 and is pictured below at 44 months. She is getting more brindle in her coat every day. She had her first calf on January 30, 2009, Chincoteague, a bull by Tangier.
